About Shuttlify

Smash. Bond. Repeat.

Shuttlify began with a few friends trying to play badminton together. What started as a simple game slowly became a community built around movement, healing, friendship, and showing up.

A game between friends.

Like many adults, the founders missed the feeling of stepping on court, laughing through rallies, sweating through games, and forgetting stress for a while. When one friend was unwell, the group saw how powerful sport could feel not only for the body, but for the mind.

The problem

Playing regularly was harder than playing well.

Every game needed calls, reminders, availability checks, timing changes, and last-minute coordination. Some days nobody came. Some days too many people came. Some days the games felt chaotic.

The idea

That’s when Shuttlify was born.

A small WhatsApp group of 4–5 players slowly grew into a larger badminton community. As more people joined, the team kept solving one problem at a time: fair games, punctual players, safer spaces, better matching, and a more welcoming adult sports culture.

Priya Luthra

Founder

For Priya, badminton was always emotional. She grew up playing with her father, lost touch with the game as life took over, and later rediscovered it after almost two decades.

Playing again rebuilt confidence, discipline, emotional strength, and happiness. For her, badminton is therapy, energy, healing, and human connection.

Co-Founder

Akshay has always connected deeply with sports and athletic culture. As an athlete, he believes every game teaches discipline, resilience, teamwork, consistency, and self-belief.

He wanted to help build a safe, structured, welcoming space where adults, especially women, could make sport part of everyday life.

The beginning

First session: 7 July 2025.

The early days were manual and messy: organising sessions, managing bookings, handling players, solving operational issues, and improving the experience every week.

There were challenges, losses, and uncertainty. But people kept coming back because Shuttlify felt different. It was not just about badminton. It was about belonging.

Our mission

Make playing again feel natural.

To build a safe, structured, and emotionally uplifting badminton community where adults can stay active, build friendships, improve mentally and physically, and reconnect with the joy of sports.

Our vision

India’s most loved badminton lifestyle community.

A movement where badminton becomes social, consistent, welcoming, and part of modern adult life. Because a healthier, happier, more connected life can begin by stepping onto a court.

Why Shuttlify?

Adults deserve spaces where they can move freely, meet good people, stay mentally healthy, and feel alive again.

Shuttlify is not just organising badminton games. We are building a culture where adults play again.
